A setup charge is a charge applied to a job when artwork has to be setup in a specific format in order to print. Examples are burning screens for silk screening, drawing patterns to bend neon, setting up templates for off set printing and outline setup for 3-dimensional signage
An upcharge is a charge for jobs that require special materials, such as a metallic or fluorescent print foil, specialty films such as holographic, and specialty substrates such as omega board. These charges apply when a typical job has these specialty products substituted in to complete a job. An upcharge can also be charged when artwork is supplied in poor condition and needs fixing. In these cases, one of our designers will spend time either fixing the existing artwork or recreating the job. Customers will be made aware of any additional charges prior to production.
